Oh my gosh, it sucks the life out of an organization.

It could suck the life out of a person.

What am I talking about?

Meetings. Oh my gosh. My good friend Pat

Lincione once wrote a book, Death By Meeting. I thought it was one of the

greatest book titles of all time. Ed boy, it hit a nerve with me. I know some of

you right now are listening to this, watching this,

and you're going, I feel like that's me. I'm dying slowly because I'm in meetings all the time. We're going to talk

specifically about bad meetings, wasteful meetings, unprepared meetings. So do your one-on-one

meetings with your boss or with coworkers meetings.

It doesn't always have to be one-on-one,

but we're gonna kind of have a one-on-one context

because I want to allow, I want to give you some some insight that you can lead up.

So I do want to frame this into meetings in general but let's talk specifically about

fixing your one-on-ones today with your leader.

If they're not doing this and doing this well, I think this is something you can lead up.
