Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. What the Lord is doing is raising a mystical company of people that understand that they have an extraordinarily practical assignment.

And the problem with our mystics has become that they have fallen in love with

being mystics.

And they're not bringing the mystical back into the present.

And the purpose of the mystical, contemplative, transcendent company of people is that they might be made into cities

set on a hill that cannot be hidden.

And one of the things that is happening is the Lord is beginning to take people that have desperately

hungered for more and taught them that the way that they get to more is to become more. And the way they become more is by beholding the one who is more and ultimately

being transformed into the image of the one that they behold.

Now what's interesting about beholding being the means of becoming

is you are not becoming something other than who you already are,

but you are becoming the more thorough version of yourself.

What do we know?

We know that you and I were created in the image and likeness of God.

That was a gift not simply given to Adam, but it's a gift

given to all that were created. Why? Because the scripture did not say, and God said, let us make

Adam in our image. God said, let us make Adam in our image.

God said let us make man in our image.

Man is made in the image of God.

There are three plural pronouns used in that one verse.

God, which is Elokim, which is always in the plural.
