this teaching is it's morphing and it's evolving and so every time I go into the scriptures even in my

morning personal time at home I'm having something happen in my heart

regarding how we have been sold short of what's actually

available in the life of the sons and daughters of Yawe by not having been taught what salvation actually is.

And when I say the word salvation, the Western mind,

listen to this, travels to a spot the patristic mind never would have.

When I say saved, the current Western definition of salvation

does not match the orthodox patristic definition of salvation. When I say patristic, this is the

Greek word potter, it's saying father, that's in essence what we're saying. If I was teaching

a class on patristics tonight,

we would be going back into the mind of the early church fathers.

Now, having said that, we don't believe that everything that the early church fathers believe was right,

wasn't supposed to be. It was a process. The problem

is we've moved so far away from a Christus victor, the victory of Jesus, revelation of what was accomplished through

the death barrel, resurrection, ascension, and enthronement of Jesus that we've now made things

like penal substitutionary theories of the

atonement the gospel and the Nicene Creed does not even mention

atonement. There's no atonement theory present in the creed because the gospel is not the preaching of

theories about the atonement the gospel is the preaching of the victory of Jesus

who now currently is enthroned as king over all,

whether you and I are ready to recognize that or not.
