Hello, good friends. Good day and welcome. Welcome to this week's

Reporter's Roundtable on the Bill Press Pod. Well, last night, President Trump resided over the lighting

of the White House Christmas tree, but that may have been the only bright spot for him this

week. The rest of the week

he spent putting out fires, starting with the news that last September 2nd, allegedly under

orders from Defense Secretary Pete Hankseth, the military had bombed a small boat in the Caribbean

to kill two survivors of the first bombing of that boat,

which Republicans and Democrats in Congress condemned as an act of war.

Then a report from the Pentagon's inspector general accusing Hegsteth of putting American

troops at risk when, back in March, he used Signal to reveal details of a planned missile attack on

Yemen to a group that included his wife, his brother, and a journalist from the Atlantic.

Next, word that Trump had to hire a new architect for his ballroom and fired the old one

because he refused, the old architect architect did to make it big enough

for Trump. And finally, a shocker in Tennessee's special congressional election where the Republican

candidate did win but only by nine points in a deep red district that Trump had won by 22.

Well, not exactly smooth sailing.
