One thing for sure, there's no rest for the politically weary. It seems like we're still recovering from the last election, but we're already barging into the next one,

those all-important midterm elections of 2026, where voters nationwide will have their first

chance to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with Trump's second

term, and where Democrats have a chance of taking back the House and maybe even the Senate.

Donald Trump's clearly worried about the midterms. Months ago, he started a move to draw new

congressional district lines in order to give Republicans an advantage in the midterms,

a contest soon joined by Democrats in California and still underway.

Both parties, meanwhile, are busy recruiting their best candidates for House and Senate raises,

while polls show that Donald Trump at an all-time low, with his approval

rating down to 36 percent.

So today, nearing years end, we wanted to see just where things stand on the political landscape

today.
