And here we are the day before Friday the 13th. I don't know if anyone

out there is superstitious. I graduated high school on a Friday to 13th, so it doesn't bother me at all.

13 has always been my lucky number. So, oh, that's cool. I have no fears. Of course, now that I say

that I'd better knock on wood hard.

It's true.

We were saying that before we turn on the microphone.

We're inviting trouble today.

So let's get right into it.

What are you wearing, Charlene?

I have been wearing my directo top, which is a pattern by Allison Green.

I wore this to work last week and realized how much, I realized again, how much I really like this top.

It is a short-sleeved, cap-sleeved top with a very basic, uncomplicated pattern around the yoke, kind of a pearl pattern, so many rows

knit, and then one row of pearl, and then I think there's some yarn overs thrown in there on one or two rows in the pattern.

And it was really easy, uncomplicated knitting.

I enjoyed knitting it in fingering weight, even though the pattern was written for a decay

weight.

And the version that I made, well, actually I've made two versions of it, and the version that I made, well, actually, I've made two versions of it.
