Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast. This is episode number 250, woo-hoo, that we are recording on Thursday, July 29th, 2021. I'm Gail. And I'm Charlene. And we were just saying episode number 250. It gave me a lot of

0:25.7

pleasure to write that on the top of my show notes for today. Yes, me too, me too. It feels significant,

0:32.0

although we're not doing anything to celebrate, but it feels significant for some reason. It's a nice

0:36.4

even number. Yeah, exactly. It's a nice

0:38.9

little landmark milestone. There's the word I'm looking for a milestone. It is. It is.

0:45.1

All right, what are you wearing? Well, this week, I was visiting a friend down in Los Angeles. I went down to

0:53.6

Los Angeles, actually for a family reason.

0:57.9

I had to visit a special aunt of mine who was very ill right now.

1:03.4

So I went down to see her and also was able to see a dear friend that I haven't been able to see in a year and a half.

1:12.7

Long time.

1:13.8

Yeah, maybe longer.

1:15.2

I don't know, at least a year and a half.

1:17.9

And while we were sitting outside in the evening, I wore my Julie's wrap, which is a pattern

1:24.8

by Hoi Locatelli.

1:27.3

It was the perfect little rectangular shawl to throw on

1:31.7

over my shoulders. And I even got a picture of both of us wearing it together because it's very,

1:37.7

very long. That was a cute picture too. Very cute. Yeah. So I was very happy with that. The Julie's wrap, as I mentioned, is a

1:47.7

large rectangular wrap and it, the really cool thing about it is that it has these little

1:53.8

bibles all along the edges. And I know some people hear the word bibles and they get turned off,

2:00.4

but these are beautiful.

2:02.6

I didn't mind making them and I really enjoy this wrap.

2:08.6

And it's one of the ones that I would make another if I could find a suitable quantity of yarn.
