Don't you just love weddings? I sure do. Never grows old watching the celebration of two becoming one and watching that couple commit their lives to each other. For the record, my favorite part is watching the groom's face the first moment that he sees his beautiful bride. Why? Because marriage is a beautiful

reflection of something eternal. If you've been listening over the past few weeks, you know

Nancy's been teaching from a series about the names of Jesus in the days leading up to next

week's observance of the death of Jesus. And then, of course, the celebration of Jesus in the days leading up to next week's observance of the death of Jesus,

and then, of course, the celebration of his glorious resurrection.

And Nancy, today you're going to share about Jesus as our bridegroom.

And Dana, I've got to say that that name of Jesus has always been precious to me.

I've always loved it.

But it means even more to me now that I'm married and have an earthly bridegroom than it did when I first recorded this series

prior to being married to Robert. Speaking of your wedding, I just loved how you incorporated

this eternal truth into your own wedding. Tell us about that.

Well, even as we started to plan our wedding, and that's almost seven years ago now, it's hard

to believe, but we said our goal for this wedding was to showcase the loveliness of Jesus.

We wanted to tell the gospel story. And so everything we did in that wedding,

and Danny, you were there, you and Bob, and you remember this. And every element, every little piece,

every little part, we wanted to share the gospel, to talk about Christ's relationship with his bride,

the church. And so, for example, and you remember
