Well, yesterday we looked at a name for the Lord Jesus found in the book of Revelation.

We talked about him being the alpha and the omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Today we want to turn again to the book of Revelation and see another name of Jesus that appears only one time in the scripture, and it's here in Revelation chapter 5.

And I'm going to begin reading in verse 1.

Then I saw on the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

Now, as the story unfolds, we see that this scroll contains a record

of the future decrees and purposes of God. It tells what's going to take place and how history

is going to be consummated. And for the moment, those plans have been concealed in that scroll.
