In ancient Roman mythology, the God of Beginings and Transitions was known as Janus, JANUS.

He was the God of Beginnings and Transitions, and as such, he was also considered to be the God of Time and the God of Endings.

So beginnings and transitions, time and endings.

This God, supposed God, Janus, is usually shown with two faces, one looking to the past

and one looking to the future.

Now can you guess which month of the calendar the Romans named in honor of the God Janus?
