0:20.3	Today, on the weekend pulpit, we are happy to share a full-length Bible message given through Scott's pulpit ministry. These messages were recorded live in a local church or gospel event in recent days. It is our prayer that the message will be a help to you today. Very much Very good. Well, if you were in the Sunday school hour, you know we're in a certain book of the Old Testament.
1:03.4	And we're going to be there again this morning and we'll come back to it again this evening.
1:06.6	Let's open the Word of God together again to the little book of Ruth.
1:09.8	Someone told me just a few moments ago during the fellowship time.
1:13.2	This was her favorite book of the Bible.
1:15.6	Anybody else say Ruth is your favorite?
1:17.3	I'm just curious.
1:18.5	A few folks.
1:19.1	That's good.
1:19.6	It's a great one.
1:21.0	And it's not really about Ruth.
1:22.8	It's all about Jesus.
1:23.8	That's what it's about.
1:25.1	All of the Word of God is to help us know the God of the Word.
1:29.2	And so when you come to the book of Ruth, this is not just a story. This is the Lord's redemption
1:34.2	story. This is not just the history of some family. This is a message to the family of God.
1:41.2	And it reveals the heart of God and the love of God for sinners. Are there any
1:45.0	sinners here today glad God loves sinners? And the Lord didn't wait till you get better to love you.
1:49.9	He loves you exactly like you are. He meets you exactly where you are. And praise God,
1:54.4	he loves you too much to leave you there. He brings you to where he wants you to be. That is the
1:59.6	picture we find in the little book of Ruth.
