0:20.3	Today, on the weekend pulpit, we are happy to share a full-length Bible message given through Scott's pulpit ministry. These messages were recorded live in a local church or gospel event in recent days. It is our prayer that the message will be a help to you today. Now, but I'm going to bring you to really one verse tonight, and before we read the verse,
0:58.6	if you'll permit me to do this, it's the last evening.
1:00.9	I want to read the whole passage with you.
1:03.4	And I'm going to back up into the closing verses of chapter 9.
1:08.7	Because in the first meeting that I had here here I wasn't with the whole church family
1:12.9	it was with your young people an area young people and I preached to them from the closing
1:17.9	verses of chapter 9 and they very naturally flow into chapter 10 see the word of God is a
1:25.3	progressive revelation.
1:33.8	We mean by that that everything builds on itself and it opens and it goes deeper as it goes.
1:40.2	So at the end of chapter number nine, Paul is speaking about himself and he's basically saying,
1:43.0	I want to stay right with God.
1:46.4	Let me speak as a preacher tonight. Pray for me. I want to stay right with God. Let me speak as a preacher tonight. Pray for me. I want to stay right with God. Then when you come to chapter 10, Paul says to the people, now you got to
1:53.9	stay right with God. And let me say to all the people are gathered here tonight. Now you have to
1:59.4	stay right with God. See, the greatest enemy all of us have is not the devil.
2:03.8	We blame the devil for a lot.
2:04.9	He gets a whole lot of credit for what he didn't do.
2:07.9	The greatest enemy I have is not him.
2:10.2	The greatest enemy I have is the guy I look at in the mirror every morning,
2:13.6	and I drag his old stinking, rotten flesh everywhere I battle me how many of you
2:20.1	battle you and the great struggle is not in getting right with the Lord in fact the good news is
2:27.6	you can be right with God in a moment in a moment you can be right with the Lord but the great thing we have to work at is staying right with God.
