0:00.0	In our world, there is so much sorrow, misery, and sadness.
0:12.6	We see indicators all around us that reveal to us that most people are looking for something,
0:18.2	anything, that can bring them true joy. In this study on joy,
0:23.5	Scott Pauley will take us to God's Word and help us discover the source of true, lasting joy.

1:06.2	Well, let me tell you that when we talk about joy the joy of the lord we're not talking simply about
1:13.0	good feelings or good circumstances and there is no three-step plan uh to just have a better day
1:21.5	oh you're going to read things and hear things like that but that's not what we're studying
1:25.3	we're studying something that is deeper
1:27.5	than that, higher than that, it lasts longer than that because it is rooted in what God, the
1:34.0	sovereign God is doing in this world. It enables you to deal with present difficulties because
1:39.9	of future hope. And so today we turn our attention to Psalm 126, the joy of reaping.
1:49.5	Now, if you've ever planted a garden, if you've ever raised any crops at all, you know there's
1:55.6	a process.
1:56.6	There is a tilling up of the ground, a planting of the seed, a watering, a weeding.
