In our world, there is so much sorrow, misery, and sadness.

We see indicators all around us that reveal to us that most people are looking for something,

anything, that can bring them true joy. In this study on joy,

Well, let me tell you that when we talk about joy the joy of the lord we're not talking simply about

good feelings or good circumstances and there is no three-step plan uh to just have a better day

oh you're going to read things and hear things like that but that's not what we're studying

we're studying something that is deeper

than that, higher than that, it lasts longer than that because it is rooted in what God, the

sovereign God is doing in this world. It enables you to deal with present difficulties because

of future hope. And so today we turn our attention to Psalm 126, the joy of reaping.

Now, if you've ever planted a garden, if you've ever raised any crops at all, you know there's

There is a tilling up of the ground, a planting of the seed, a watering, a weeding.
