I want to introduce you to a family now that I would guess you probably are not real well acquainted with.

They're in the Bible twice. Look at Second Timothy chapter 1 and verse number 16.

Paul writes, The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesophorus. Would you take your pen and mark the house of onesophores? For he oft refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain but when he was in rome he sought me out

very diligently and found me the lord granted to him that he may find mercy of the lord in that day

and in how many things he ministered unto me at ephesus thou knowest very well now let me show

it's something really interesting because every text has a context right the scripture we just read is in the setting of the previous verses back up to

verse number 15. Paul said, everybody in Asia has turned away from me. He names two men by name.

How'd you like to get a letter and the Apostle Paul called you out twice?

You got Fijellus and Hermogenes.

He said, these men didn't do the right thing.

They turned away.

And then immediately, he says,

but the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesa Forrest.

There's a great contrast here, you see,

between the right way and the wrong way.

So the household of Anessa Forrest is a reference to his family.

When the Bible says the house of, it's not referring to the physical structure,
