Hello, friends. This is Scott Pauli, and I'm thrilled you've joined us for the weekend pulpit.

From time to time, it's my privilege to share a Bible message that God is used to affect my life in a unique way.

And today's message from God's Word is from a guest preacher and someone that is very special

to me.

I hope you'll get your Bible and follow along as we listen for the Lord to speak to our hearts.

I'd like for you to go with me into the gospel of Matthew

and we'll go to chapter number six,

Matthew chapter number six this evening.

We'll read just a few verses here in Matthew chapter number six

and then we'll from there perhaps cover most of this chapter.

And so I'm praying that God will use it in your heart and in your life this evening.

Matthew chapter number six will begin reading in verse 33.

Matthew chapter six and verse 33.

But seek ye first.

Notice that word.

Would you say it with me? Seek ye first. Let's say it again.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow,

for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.

Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Would you bow with me in prayer, and let's ask God's spirit to speak to us through His word.

Our Father, we thank you for the opportunity that you've given us yet again to be together
