We come to Jonah chapter four, the final chapter in our final meeting.

In Jonah chapter four, let's review class just for a minute, shall we?

We began early on the Lord's day with one word.

Let's see if you really paid attention.

And we talked about the divine now, and I believe that God has dealt with us in the now this week,

Then we came to chapter two, and we talked about the fact that salvation

is of the Lord. A man called me today from Arizona and he had a question about the doctrine of

salvation and we had a wonderful conversation and I quoted to him this verse. Salvation is of the

Lord and it's something of course that you may come to understand in an elementary way

at your conversion, but I would argue you spend the rest of your life going deeper and deeper

into what the writer of Hebrews called things that accompany salvation.

You never plumb the depths of the grace of Almighty God.

Salvation is of the Lord.

And then we talked about why God sins the storms.
