0:09.0	Today we are concluding this brief series that we do periodically on current questions and Bible answers.
0:16.0	And today is going to be kind of a fast round because I'm going to cover a lot of ground in a short
0:21.3	about a time and give brief answers to a wide variety of questions.
0:26.4	But I want to begin today with a verse from 2 Timothy chapter 2 where Paul warns about
0:32.8	something that I think all of us need to be warned about.
0:35.7	In verse number 14, he writes to this young preacher and says,
0:39.8	of these things put them in remembrance,
0:42.9	charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit,
0:51.3	but to the subverting of the hearers.
0:54.9	And the very next verse is where we're told to study to show ourselves approved
0:58.6	unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth.
1:01.5	I think there's a great caution for all of us.
1:04.4	It's not bad to ask questions.
1:06.7	It's not wrong to think through things and converse about things, but it is wrong to spend our time
1:14.0	fighting and arguing, striving about things that bring no spiritual profit. He said, basically,
1:22.3	the things that we're supposed to concentrate on are the things that bring us back to God
1:26.2	to the subverting of the hearers.
1:28.7	In other words, we don't just want people's minds filled. We want their hearts changed.
1:34.8	And this is very important because if you're not careful, you can get so wrapped up,
1:39.9	especially in our world today, going down to every rabbit hole on the internet and every chat room
1:45.5	and every forum that you get away from the Word of God. And more importantly, you use the Word of God
