Would you please join me in a word of prayer? Heavenly Father, thank you so much, Lord.

Thank you, Lord. For those of us who have decided to follow Jesus, Lord, we pray that if there's

anybody out there who has not yet made that decision, the most important decision of their life Lord that you would just

speak to them this evening draw them close to you Lord that they may come to a saving grace

of who you are Lord thank you for this time where we can come together study your word

and be encouraged Lord would you speak to us this evening Lord watch over

this place protect us Lord be with Pastor J.D as well Lord as he delivers your word so again

bless this time we thank you and we ask these things in the the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. Amen.

Amen. Good evening to you. Welcome, welcome. You can be seated. Also want to welcome

those of you joining us online. We're so glad that you are Lamentations Chapter 5 tonight.

We're finishing the book, this super long book with five chapters

in it. Oh, interesting chapter. I know I say that all the time, but I think you'll see why

here in a moment. But I know we just prayed, but if you wouldn't mind, let's just pray.

We'll ask God to bless our time together in His word tonight.

Just ask him to give us eyes of understanding if you would join with me.

Father and heaven, thank you so much.

Oh, Lord, just this is our time. And we so look forward to these Thursday nights where we can just come to this beautiful place that you've given us

to just have kind of a respite of sorts, a true sanctuary

of sorts where we can just disconnect from the cares and the affairs of our busy lives and

they are so busy and stressful and just reconnect with you and your word with

each other in fellowship and worship and Lord we we so look forward to this time

together and tonight Lord is no exception.
