Would you join me in a word of prayer, Heavenly Father?

May this be our prayer, Lord, that we would turn our eyes upon you

so we can see, Lord, what it is that you would have us to do

and who it is that you would have us to be, Lord.

Pray that as we come here, Lord,

and we sit under your teaching,

that you will continue to empower us to the Holy Spirit,

to go out there and do your work, Lord.

Share the love, the grace and the mercy of Jesus with somebody today. We ask this in Jesus' name,

on sunday morning of course the first of which is the weekly bible prophecy update uh we've been doing

this for a number of years and then second service now is the sermon actually a verse by verse

study currently uh in second peter almost done with 2nd peter not so fast don't rush me

just one verse today so we're not going to finish 2nd peter today so you know um but it is one verse for a reason, and I pray that today's teaching in 2nd Peter will be an encouraging word of hope for those who are struggling with discouragement and hopelessness.

Peter writes something very interesting in verse 15.
