| 0:00.0 | Welcome to episode 3,251 of The Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Megley and I welcome you to day five of this week's series. This week, the theme you're exploring is the power of repetition. |
| 0:22.5 | And as you explore repetition, you will be mentally repeating and affirming universal truths. |
| 0:32.3 | So in each episode this week, I've shared with you a universal truth that has stood the test of time |
| 0:40.5 | across thousands of years and in today's episode you're guided with today's featured meditation |
| 0:50.2 | technique and for day five of a weekly series, that's always a chakra focus. So I like to |
| 0:58.5 | share with you the rich tradition of meditation and yoga, the classical tradition from India. |
| 1:07.3 | And that involves chakras. Chakras, if you're not familiar with them, are simply areas within your body where you harbor emotions and memories. |

| 1:42.0 | Or, for example, fear, you might feel your gut clinch or your intuition. |
| 1:49.0 | You might notice your gut instinct. So this is a way to think about chakras, where you hold this |

| 2:19.7 | And this particular chakra dealing with authenticity, how you present yourself to others, |
| 2:27.2 | and also how others perceive you to be is located at your throat. It has to do with the speech you use, the quality of your |
| 2:42.5 | voice, your communication, and again, how others are perceiving you. Are they perceiving your authenticity, some kind of truth about you? |
| 2:56.8 | Or do they notice maybe duplicity? |
| 3:01.0 | Maybe you're not really sharing who you are. |
| 3:05.0 | So this is something that I invite you to think about as you focus on the theme |
| 3:13.3 | of repetition because it's important for you to be repeating that which you want to express |
| 3:22.3 | which is your truth. People can feel your truth and they can |
