Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

This is Rosary on the road.

My Habibi, Sandy and I are blessed to be at the home of Mike and Lynn Meese with their small group of friends.

We've had good food and good drinks and good conversation and now we're going to pray the Rosary together.

But I want to give a shout out to Ava and to Pete,

faithful followers and prayers of the Rosary,

but Ava, you have you promised me last night that you

would pray for me every day so now don't forget so let's call to mind all those

we've promised to pray for. Well today we continue our

reflection on the theological virtues with the virtue of faith. Just as the body

needs food, water and oxygen to live, the three powers of this soul, the intellect,

will and passions, need to be nourished by reality.

The intellect needs to be nourished by reality in the form of truth.

The will needs reality in the form of goodness and the passions or our emotions need reality in the form of beauty.

Without food and water the body will die.

Without reality in the form of truth, goodness and beauty,

the soul begins to die from a sense that life is meaningless.

Now with the virtue of faith we focus on the power of the soul, the intellect.

The intellect is nourished by reality in the form of truth as I just said.

Therefore the soul needs to feed on truth to thrive.

But what is truth?
