Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Faith is not what you think it is.

God reveals and offers himself to us through Jesus.

And the Catechism defines faith in this way.

Faith is first of all a personal adherence of man to God. at the same time it is a free assent to the whole truth that

So there are two parts to faith.

To believe absolutely what Jesus taught and what he continues

to teach us through the official teaching of the Catholic Church.

And to believe also means to do what Jesus teaches through the

meditation I want to emphasize the second aspect of faith that faith is a

personal adherence to God and by this I mean a total gift a total surrender to

him entrusting oneself without reservation to God.

Theresa of Avala is insistent to reach transforming union with God,

an unavoidable condition is required. Total surrender to God. She writes,

let your will be done in me in every way, and may it not please your majesty that something so precious

as your love be given to anyone who serve you only for the sake of themselves.
