this is the subject we are going to talk about.

I remember reading about this young man who saw Swami Vivekananda at his own house. Swami Vivekhanada, visiting Trevendrum in 189292 before he came to the west.

So he stayed at the house of this person, Ramas Swami, Kharama Swami Shastri.

So in his reminiscences he says that Swami Vivekandha came to our house and he stayed with my father.

I was a young boy at that time. One day, Swami Vivekananda said to me,

You are young yet, but I hope one day you will reverentially study

the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita and the Brahmas sutras,

the Prastanathra, the foundations of Vedantah,

as also the Puraners, the itiharas and the Agamas, you will not find the like of them anywhere in the world.
