Ome, Vasudeva, Suttam Devam, Kamshachanodramarthanam, Deva Ki,

Brahmanandam, Krishna, Vandeh Jagad Guru.

So we are studying the fourth chapter of the Bhagavad Gita.

And last time we did a very, very important verse, a paradoxical language, but very crucial

verse.

The verse was the 18th verse of the fourth chapter.

You'll remember, Karmany Akarmaya Pashyed, Akarmanya charmaya,

sub-bhidhiman manuishyesh, sa yukta, sakrachrma-Krit.

What does it mean?

The one who sees action, inaction in the midst of action, an action where there is apparently no action such a person is wise among

human beings such a person is the true yogi and such a person is the doer of all actions.

Very paradoxical language. What is he indicating? What he is showing is that the enlightened

person who realizes that I am Brahman, I am this pure being, existence,

consciousness, bliss, and beyond all activities. Activities are at the level of the body

and at the level of the mind. in the witness consciousness, the consciousness which

illumines all activities, there is no change there.

There is no activity.

There is forever beyond that.

So I, as this witness consciousness, I do not act even when I am working through the body

and mind, even when I'm maybe thinking I'm talking walking

eating interacting with people I do not do anything and that's something that an

enlightened person can honestly say maybe they don't say it but they can honestly
