And that time is today, Monday,

brand new week, brand new month. The final sprint till the end of the year, we have a lot to get

done before we close for Christmas, New Year's break. And it's really all issues that matter. But

more than anything else, the predominant issue is spending.

Because that is the antecedent to inflation, which is the antecedent to our ability

to live a functional life, a standard of living that even our grandparents once held.

And that issue will determine whether any potential gains we make on culture, on immigration,

on, you know, weaponization of DOJ, Maha, vaccines, it will determine whether those gains are enduring.

So that's what we're going to spend a lot of time on that as we head into the lame duck

session, this disaster spending bill, the CR, preparing for budget reconciliation.
