Summary

Halley and Jaz are back this week with a jam-packed episode that swings from fair food to full-on meltdowns. Jaz shares her whirlwind trip to Alaska for the state fair, complete with nostalgia, fried food, and accidentally getting the best sleep of her life in a bunk bed. meanwhile, the two catch up on home life, debating bed sizes, dogs hogging the sheets, and how to actually get a night of rest in New York City.

the conversation takes a raw turn when Halley opens up about her ulcerative colitis and recent colonoscopy. from the stress of prepping, to her full-blown panic at the hospital, to adjusting to new medications, she doesn’t hold back about how draining chronic illness can be. Jaz balances things out with her never-ending food cravings, late-night kitchen raids, and even considering Ozempic just to quiet the “food noise.”

also, the girls spiral over Camp Rock versus Camp Star, rant about bizarre internet drama, Jaz’s dog’s very unfortunate medical moment, and of course dive into Taylor Swift theories and the very infamous podcast appearance. this episode is chaotic, it’s candid, and it’s exactly the kind of unfiltered girl talk you come here for every week.

0:33.0

Yeah. I feel like we traveled for a month straight anytime around Madrid. Yeah, it was just back to back to back unpacking to repack. But we actually went to Madrid a few months ago. Yeah. For a trip with Claren's, we couldn't tell you guys about it. But we actually learned about a new product. It's actually called, I actually have it with me. It's the Claren's total eye lift, and we've been using it ever since,

0:54.9

which is really exciting to be like an OG to a product. No, I know. We weren't allowed to talk about it that we obviously had the product and we're using it before it launched. I, like, wanted to put it in an empties video because I literally already used the whole thing. Jazz was like, oh, can you bring your product to show on the podcast today? And I was like, I literally, I do have it still

0:54.1

because it's actually refillable, which is super nice. You can like click the bottom out and refill it. I can do it right now. I can't do it right now. I couldn't even get a refill when I needed it because it wasn't out. But I do still have the outside part. Yeah, it was super cool. We actually went there and there was kind of like a business conference. Yeah. First like podcast business trip. And we went over like how they made the product, how they've only been working on it and like what they use in it to like make your like puffiness go away. Your fine lines go away. And it was just really interesting to hear like from point A to point B,

1:49.7

like how you get there. Yeah, I think it always makes me want to use a product more when I actually understand what's behind it. Like anytime like I hear from the actual brand, like they were so

1:55.3

intentional about what went into this product and how it actually works and like letting us know

2:00.6

that. I really did feel like, like, letting us know that.

2:01.2

It's the best eye cream I've used in a really long time.

2:11.1

Yeah.

2:11.4

And it was super cool, like, knowing the science behind stuff.

2:13.7

Like, they brought in, like, everyone who was on like a science standpoint. And that was super interesting. Yeah, they literally talked to us about like the mitochondria of the cell, you guys.
