We got a tricky one today.

Real quick, if you're new to the show, the purpose, the mission statement here is the news makes me anxious, makes everyone I know anxious,

and that's not a good way to live life. So we take the news of the day, the thing that is making

you anxious, and then break it down, lament it, lament the brokenness, and then give some historical

perspective and biblical peace to make all that anxiety go away.

Because I still want to be engaged with what's going on.

It's important.

But I can't be doing it in a constant state of anxiety all the time.

It's not healthy.

It's not good.

So story of the day.

I wanted to talk about the Balenciaga advertisements and the normalization of pedophilia in our culture today.

As if that's not big enough of a topic to break down, then the Senate passed the Respect for Marriage Act and 12 Republican senators voted with the Democrats for the respect for marriage act.

So I wasn't sure what to do, which to talk about.

So I started with Balenciaga and I was like, oh no, we got to do the marriage thing.

And then I realized that they're the same but it's like

that may be confusing so let's split it up but I couldn't I think the connection of that is actually

very important so I want to see if we can do this do both of these things very clearly let's
