Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the gospel truth.

Today I'm continuing to teach about the true nature of God.

Just fundamental, foundational things that's sad to say most Christians don't know and because of it,

they are susceptible to Satan's lies about God.

Just like Satan deceived Eve because he misrepresented the nature of God and said the reason God doesn't want you to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is because

he doesn't love you. He's trying to keep you from being like him. That was an absolute lie

about God that if she would have really understood who he was, she would have never fallen for

that. Likewise, if we really understood who God truly is, we wouldn't fall for a lot of the lies

and the deception that are being put forth about God.

So I've got a book on this entitled The True Nature of God, and this is my second week of

teaching on these things.

And I tell you, if you understand this, this will lay a foundation

for your relationship with God that is just essential. And one of the points that I've made

towards the end of last week's teaching was that some of the misrepresentations about God and who he is,

what his nature is like, has come from

Scripture, not because Scripture is wrong, but because it's been misinterpreted. People have

thought that the reason God gave the Old Testament law is to show us exactly what we must do to be
