Summary

On Mar 28, 2023, the trial of Trezell and Jacqueline West began. The couple stands accused of killing two of their adopted sons, Orrin, and Orson West, who were four and three at the time. According to the parents, the boys went missing from their California City, California backyard on December 21, 2020. The prosecution contends that the brothers had already been dead for months before that 911 call was made.

Over the course of several weeks, the prosecution laid out its case which, absent the boys’ bodies or other physical evidence, hinges on a star witness: Trezell and Jacqueline’s 12-year-old son. We covered the prosecution’s case in our last episode, so now, with both sides resting their case, we’re bringing you Trezell and Jacqueline’s defense.
