17 year old Kurt Solva goes out to spend the evening with friends

but does not return home.

When Kurt's parents go searching for him, they learn that he vanished while attending a party.

Five days after his disappearance, Kurt's body is found in a ravine, but the coroner's office cannot determine his exact cause of death.

The case would have many unexplained elements, including suspicious behavior from the host of the party, a mysterious stranger who accurately predicted when Kurt's body would be found.

I'm your host Robin Warder and today's episode is really going to please my fellow

unsolved mysteries fans. I will finally be covering a case from that show which has been

requested countless times since the inception of this

podcast, the unexplained 1981 death of Kurt Sova. I felt like this would be an

ideal time to feature this story because as you probably know classic

episodes of Unsaw Mysteries have now been uploaded to Amazon Prime. The Kurt Sova

case is one of the most memorable segments from the show's first season and ever since it popped up again,

the demand for me to cover his story has greatly increased.

The episode originally aired on November 23rd, 1988, and I still remember when my 10-year-old self tuned into

watch that night and how much of an impression this segment made. The idea of a

teenage boy just vanishing for several days and then turning up dead

and no one being able to determine how he died

really freaked me out.

And of course, unsolved mysteries really knew how to bring out the maximum amount of

creepiness.
