Summary

Thanksgiving is, funny enough, my running anniversary. That's why just about every year since starting this podcast, I've hopped on here to talk.

This year is a really, really tough year. And I keep thinking about this piece I used to do in college from a play called The Guys by Anne Nelson. The play is about a journalist who helps a fire captain, Nick, as he has to write tons of eulogies for fallen firefighters.

But, this year, so many people are hurting. So many are going to have to have their first Thanksgiving after losing a loved one.

This year has been really, really difficult and if you're looking for someone to cry with, well, let's cry together.

Grateful for you Badass Lady Gang.

1:05.4	we're having the hashtag B-A-L-G turkey trot so for the last 10 weeks on the badass lady
1:10.0	gang's Instagram account there's been two 10-week training programs that are totally free.
1:15.6	There's a run your first 10-K and run your strongest 10-K and there's a lot of people who are going
1:20.2	out to run a turkey trot this year obviously virtually because as I'm
1:25.7	recording this it's 20-20 we are still in the middle of this this pandemic which is
1:31.3	still so crazy to say out loud, but I wanted to record this because
1:40.7	I kind of want to check in and update everybody and be just a lighthouse I guess.
