Usually for my Saturday takes I focus on more of a macro level.

What I want to see out of the Steelers, what I'm worried about in the game, larger observations.

Today I'm going to focus on a micro level, specifically Pittsburgh's first offensive play of the game.

I want to see Kenny Pickett Rip it. We all know

about how Matt Canada was fighters the sailor's offense coordinator. Canada was

gone, which means Canada can't be used as an excuse for the incredibly

bland and rudimentary offense that we've seen at Pittsburgh this season.

Pick it has to take shots down the field and prove it's not just a dump off and check down

Maestro too afraid to take a shot.

On the first of the game, Mike Sullivan should dial up a play

downfield. The Steelers took a shot on their first play of week 8 against the

Jacksonville Jaguars, a ball Deontay Johnson dropped. So they've proven they could cook a play-up. Let's rein in this newer

of offense by getting a vertical. I don't care who it goes to. George Pickens,

Deontay Johnson, Calvin Austin, hell even Pat Firing will have up the seam. Just get somebody a look one-on-one

downfield and like Kenny showed that he is going to push the ball and isn't afraid to

throw the ball down the field. Even with the pass is incomplete, at least it shows that they tried.

They've been too afraid to try. Short passes, dumpoffs, it's been the steeple of their offense

this season. They haven't really looked downfield outside of one or two occasions.

Prove that it was Canada who was too afraid of

encouraging Pickett to Playalter Conservative
