I'm Josh Carney. It's never wise to get ahead of yourself, especially in sports.

That said, I'm going to do that right here, right now.

Sitting at 5 and 3 on the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a real opportunity ahead in the second half of the year.

Starting on Sunday against the three and five Green Bay Packers.

As things stand, the Steelers have one of the easiest schedules remaining in the NFL, at least according to Pro Football Network.

Pro Football Network has the Steelers with the seventh easiest schedule remaining in the NFL. That is huge for the Steelers.

The remaining schedule features teams like the Packers, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis

Colts, and the New England Patriots.

Know what those four teams have in common?

All four are projected to pick in the top 10 of the 2024 NFL draft right now. That means they're bad. Of course, Pittsburgh

also has to deal with the Cleveland Browns in Baltimore Ravens one more time.

Not to mention the Red Hot Cincinnati Bengals twice.

But the Steelers are two and own the division for a reason and always play well against

the AFC North foes.

At five and three, is that out of the realm of possibilities that the Steelers somehow, some way get to ten or eleven wins?

Dare I say twelve 12 like I did earlier in the season?

That might seem like crazy talk considering how woeful the offense looks right now.

But that said, the Week 9 win over the Tennessee Titans might be a sign of things to come for the

Steelers, who are getting healthy at the right time.

The run game was dominant.

Rookies are ascending into key roles and producing.
