Mike Tomlin certainly had no time for any questions Tuesday about the identity of his football team through the season's first six games.

That's understandable. There's still a ton of football to be played between now and the end of the regular season. So much can happen in that time frame.

But the fact of the matter is, the Steelers don't exactly have an identity yet, at least on the offensive side of the football.

However, there is good news.

They may have rediscovered their identity offensively on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth quarter.

In those final 15 minutes of action, the Steelers possessed the football for 11 minutes and 55 seconds.

Yes, you heard that right.

Draining the clock and never giving it back to the Rams,

especially in the final five minutes and 29 seconds of the game.

They dominated the time of possession thanks to their run game.

Pittsburgh ran the football 16 times in the fourth quarter.

Take out the final three kneel downs from quarterback Kenny Pickett.

The Steelers had 13 carries.

13 legitimate carries, I should say. carries. On those plays, the Steelers gained 57 yards on the ground and scored 2 touchdowns.

A 13 yard touchdown from Jaylin Warren that tied the game, and then a 3-yard touchdown from Naji Harris that gave the Steelers the lead.

In the fourth quarter alone, the Steelers gained 4.38 yards per carry.

Take away the two quarterback sneaks from Pickett that moved the chains and gained just one yard each.

The Steelers had 11 actual run plays with Harrison Warren and gained 55 yards. Do that math? That's good for five yards per pop. Pretty good numbers overall I'd say. The Steelers were the

bullies in the fourth quarter. Playing the type of football they've been striving for over the
