I get the frustration over the Steelers' insistence to not open the floodgates and let the rookies play, to declare Broderick

Jones and Joy Porter Jr. the starters at Left Tackle and Left Corner.

Those guys are talented and they should be playing. All I want to say is

let's see what happens. There's been plenty of vitriol over the idea

Dan Moore Jr. might start and Porter might not see an uptick in snaps.

Steelers coaches have certainly been coy about it, not wanting to commit to anything or

anyone. But the reality is those guys could each start this weekend against the Rams, or in Porter's case, play a lot more than he has,

which would be good enough for me.

The frustration, the anger I see on Twitter might be much ado about nothing.

I'm not saying with certainty or even confidence Jones and Porter will start. I don't know what's going to happen.

You can interpret some of my Tomlin's comments about Dan Moore Jr. in favor or against him getting the nod

and with Porter the Steelers have been stubborn about him. But instead

of getting upset of what could happen, let's react to what does happen during and after

Sunday's game against the Rams.
