The whispers that began during the Steeler's training camp this year became a full-throated debate among the Steeler's fan base

after Pittsburgh came away with a win in

Las Vegas Sunday night.

Who should be the starting running back?

If you look at the depth chart on the Steelers team website, RB1 is Nodie Harris and has been since he was drafted in the first round.

Jaylin Warren is RB2.

To hear it from head coach Mike Tomlin, Nagee is the starter and Jaylin is a valuable contributor. He likes what they both offer the offense

and wants to see both of them on the field getting carries in every game.

The first two games of the season, the run game was virtually non-existent.

Yes, the Steelers faced two very powerful

defensive fronts, but it was still a disappointing result from both running backs.

Things improved against the Raiders, with the Steelers finally breaking 100 yards

rushing in a game.

And the fans started questioning whether J. Lynn Warren should be the starter.

On first watch of the TV tape, I understand that reaction.

But look again, and look at the numbers. Not the PFF scores, although the two are very similar there.

While it's a small sample size, especially with the first two outings being so bad, look at yards per attempt.

Nodgy is a four yards per attempt, J-Linn at 3.2.

What about catching passes out of the back field?

Jeline has the upper hand there.
