There may be some Kendrae fatigue, given that I've talked about him a couple of times in recent weeks more breath than what's typically given to a

Potential backup center who might not make the team

But as a final thought before camp kicks off I'm trying to figure out if it's smarter for the Steelers to try Green at Center again as they are, or if they should have kept him at guard where he competed last year, and I can't decide.

Center is where he was drafted to play and there's a better chance for him to make the team

there.

There's less competition.

And I've always said small guards do not work well in

Pittsburgh but green is more comfortable and natural at Garden Center and in

Pat Meyer's system centers have more more 1V1 responsibility where the guards helped the tackle

was more often, which actually could take some of the pressure off a guy like Green in handling

bull rushes.

Ultimately, thinking about it some more, I think center is the best spot for him, not that he's great or projecting well at any one area.

He was just never going to be an NFL guard and has no chance of making the team if Pittsburgh

was going to keep him there.

Now he's just fighting to make this squad out of camp.
