Welcome to the terrible take a daily segment telling Steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kizora.

In most interviews, what Matt Canada tells reporters is as bland and boring as it gets. I usually just glaze past

them because it's coach-speak on steroids, but apparently some have raised an

eyebrow with his Wednesday comments that he's not building the offensive

vision.

Some seem surprised that he's not charting the course of the team's identity, while others

are bashing him for thinking he's saying nothing's going to change.

Really though, none of this is new or interesting.

Omar Khan has already detailed how the team solidified its run-heavy, be physical approach this

off season. It was Khan, Mike Tomlin, and team President Art Rooney the second who

sat down and figured out who they wanted to be that's all past public knowledge and the

idea that nothing is going to change that just Canada saying the team is going

to continue how they won the back half of last season, but improving upon the model with better

personnel.

Canada is easy to hate on for plenty of valid reasons, but nothing he said this week is new

or interesting information.

It does not change the facts.

The Steelers offense still must produce for Canada to be back in 2024,

and maybe there's an angle of Canada seemingly sort of deflecting potential blame here about the Steelers model

but it was largely standard fodder from Pittsburgh's OC
