Welcome to the terrible take, a daily segment telling steelers nation what's on our mind. I'm Alex Kazora. The steelers have loaded up on their interior defensive line over the last month adding Brayton Pahoko and Armon Watts to the roster.

On paper the D-liner room looks a little heavy but there's a difference between quantity

and quality. Just as importantly these signings are pretty quantity and

quality.

these signings are pretty specific, base personnel and more rundown players. Watts is certainly a better athlete and pass-rusher than Fohoko,

but in his career has just two third down sacks, both of them being of the coverage and low quality variety.

If this does shift, the Steelers thinking at all at the line as some have speculated it should be on the type of

the tackle they want not taking one off the board altogether. Perhaps a team will look at a more

pass-rushing three tech who can work in nickel packages and rotate with Kim Hayward and Larry Ogen Jobe.

To Marvin Lialis also in the mix, though his role a bit unclear and he's also a raw pass-r usher who had very

little production as a rookie. Hayward is not getting any younger.

Hogan Jobe could not stay healthy last year and quality depth is needed. It's how the Eagles built their defense. So perhaps

Pittsburgh looks more for a Carl Brooks or Brian Brze type than a Siaki Ika or a Massey

Smith. Still expect this team to draft a D. linemen within the first two days.
