I'm Alex Kizora. The Pittsburgh Steelers brought in four more players

for pre-draft visits Thursday, none more notable than Oregon cornerback Christian Gonzalez.

Regarded as one of the top two corners in the draft, the Steelers' known interest

in him to date had been minimal, only sending a scout to his ducks pro day and hardly

any chatter about him contacting Pittsburgh throughout

this process but that has certainly changed with his visit now he doesn't

seem likely to fall to number 17 but this visit could mean Pittsburgh is at least

considering a trade-up, doing their homework on Gonzales, so if they want to make the

move on draft day, there's zero reservations.

For my money, he is the best cover corner in the draft with loose hips, good speed, and ball skills,

though they're not quite elite level.

Nor is he the most impactful hitter in this class, but he possesses a big

frame and he can get the job done as a wrap-up player. I know I just talked about that

if the team would trade up it would be for a tackle and that
