CAM Hayward unfortunately did not win the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award Thursday night.

Instead, Dac Prescott took home the award. An already five-time nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year

Award, Cam Hayward will more than likely get another shot at this trophy next year.

And so it will be his six time being nominated for his great work on and off the field in the Pittsburgh community.

Early Friday morning, just after midnight, Cam Hayward tweeted,

we don't need an award to justify the great work we are doing.

Back to work and carry on.

Steelers fans don't need a award or trophy to understand what

Cam Hayward has meant to this Pittsburgh community for the last decade.

Hayward is all class. It doesn't go unnoticed.

Cam Hayward does tremendous work in the Pittsburgh community with the Hayward House,

giving back to Pittsburgh's youth,

and eventually I believe he'll win the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
