I'm Alex Kazura. I know it probably doesn't matter much, but I'm sitting

here Friday still thinking, why did Brian Flores take the job to Minnesota? Not that I'm surprised by that in a vacuum any step up was worth

taking and it's no surprise Flores only lasted one year in Pittsburgh. What makes it curious is the fact that he withdrew from being a

finalist for the Arizona Cardinals head coaching job. He's gotten this far, stayed in

the race, and as soon as he scheduled a second interview it was supposed to take place this past

Wednesday he removed himself.

So why?

Perhaps he realized he wasn't really going to get the Cardinal's job.

They've taken their sweet time to make a decision and if they did not think Flores was the guy two weeks ago, they probably don't think any differently now. Flores was a finalist for the Texans job last year even though we all knew it was not going to happen.

Maybe it was on him not wanting to wait on Arizona, potentially not get it,

and then see Minnesota find a different DC in between

screwing him out of all of his opportunities or maybe he realized he just did not want the

Cardinal's job to deal with Kyle Murray going to an organization that's been
