If you're a Steelers fan on Twitter, you no doubt saw a few ridiculous posts from Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Taylor Luan in the past week.

Perhaps his most absurd was his suggestion that all 32 NFL teams should retire the number 12

Jersey to honor quarterback Tom Brady as he retires for the second and perhaps final time.

Pittsburgh already has a perfectly good reason to retire the number 12 Jersey and he just so

happens to be a quarterback as well. Terry Bradshaw played his entire career as a stealer and his many honors are extensive.

First Ball Hall of Famer, four-time Super Bowl champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP, NFL MVP, and the list goes on.

After a 50-year drought between Ernie Stotner and Joe Green in 2014,

the team retired number 32 to honor running back Franco Harris this December on the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate

reception. Tragically, Harris passed away several days before of the tragedy,

So will the Steelers retire any more Jersey numbers in the coming years?

It really isn't their style.

the team has to draw the line somewhere, right? The Steelers have other ways of honoring players who have made their mark on history while wearing the black and gold.

There are currently 49 players and staff in the team's Hall of Honor established in 2017.

And of course, there are the unofficially retired jerseys.

You will never see the likes of safety and Hall of Fame or Troy Palomalo in an NFL game again.

And you won't see number 43 on a Steelers roster again either.

Add Jack Ham's 59, Jack Lambert's 58, and Mel Blunt's 47 to the equipment manager's no-go list for the defense.
