2023 marks the first full off season of the Omar Khan and Andy Widal regime.

It's tough to judge what they did the back half of

2022, hired so late and after the draft and bulk of free agency. But we can review

some of the moves they did make after being hired, notably the trades they agreed to during the season.

There were four of them.

Sending Chase Claypool to Chicago is the big winner, no doubt about that, in an absolute

steel for the Steelers.

Getting guard Jesse Davis turned out to be pretty forgettable, but not bad with the

front five staying healthy.

He just didn't have to play.

But the other two were Duds, outside linebacker Malik Reed Reed and quarterback William Jackson the third

neither were killers none leaving this franchising disrepair but they weren't good

evaluations Reed was just the wrong guy too small not good enough against the run not suited for
