I truly believe with the amount of cap space that the Steelers

will have in three top 50 draft picks, a full off-season with Kenny Pickett getting

the quarterback one reps, the Steelers will be a much better team in

2023 than they were in 2022.

I believe 10 to 12 wins, a playoff berth, and a playoff win are very attainable aspirations.

With all of that said, the Steelers are not playing on this AFC and NFC Championship weekend. The first game on Sunday's slate of action, the San Francisco

49ers travel across country to Philadelphia to face off with the top-seated Eagles. The 49ers rank first in scoring defense in yards

per game allowed. They have playmakers all levels of the defense. On the other side

of the field the Eagles offense has playmakers all over the field as well.

MVP candidate, Jaylin Hurts, has an abundance of weapons from stud receivers A.J. Brown and Devanta Smith to Stud receiving

tight end Dallas Goddard. Today's modern NFL favors the offense, so give me the

Eagles in a close one, 27 to 24.

Sunday Night Football is a rematch of last year's AFC championship game between the Kansas

City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bangles.

With a banged up Patrick Mahomes and the fact that these Bangles have won three straight

games versus the Chiefs, most will be picking Cincinnati in this game.

Mahomes is a gamer, having already played in the Super Bowl twice while hoisting

one Lombardi trophy.

I believe the chiefs have the superior coaching staff with offensive gurus Eric Bienemy and Andy Reed and home field advantage at Arrowhead.
