mind. I'm Alex Kizora.

It's not often I say this but thank you Cincinnati though the

Bengals look poised to lead and control the AFC north for the next five plus years

they did one important thing last weekend. By beating the

Buffalo Bills they avoided the NFL having the bills in Kansas City Chiefs

playing Sunday's AFC title game in Atlanta, a neutral site.

Leading up to Division a Weekend was the speculation of the league using a potential

Chief Spills matchup as a test balloon for a neutral championship game going forward.

There was interest. 50,000 tickets sold in a week with the NFL eyeing the college-like atmosphere of championship in bowl games.

Had the Bills and Chiefs played a great game with a loud

rocking crowd, the league may have tried to implement that system going forward and that would

have sucked. Super Bowl aside, there should always be a home team and that number one seed should

mean something. Playoff seating has been continually watered down. Now only the top seed gets a buy instead of the top two and the leagues

seem to be trying to take away home field advantage from that top seed as well.

With the Bengal's win those talks have seemed to settle down, there's no case study to observe and justify a change.

It's still big business, and if the NFL really wants it, they can make it happen down the road,
