Don't look now, but the Pittsburgh Stieters could very well wind up having the 30 second selection in the 2022 NFL draft.

No, I'm not talking about them winning the Super Bowl this year.

I'm talking about the second round pick they received from the Chicago Bears in exchange for wide receiver

Chase Claypool on November 1st. Currently that pick that the Steelers

received from the Bears for Claypool is the second one in the second round and that's 33rd overall in the

2022 NFL draft once you account for the Miami Dolphins forfeiture of their first

round selection. The Bears however still have two games remaining and they are tough ones at that against division rivals, the Detroit Lions, and the Minnesota Vikings.

In short, that pick that the Steelers received from the Bears could wind up being the first one in round two,

and especially if the Houston Texans can win one of their final two games against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Indianapolis Colts.

Talk about a Khan job.

Since Steter's General Manager Omar Khan traded Claypool to the Bears,

Chicago is O and 7.

As for Claypool specifically, Chicago is 0.7.

As for Claypool specifically, he's caught just 12 passes for 111 yards and no touchdown

since being traded to the Bears.

Not only that, but Claypool has also missed the last two games with a knee injury.

Had the Steelers missed Claypool at all? None. Zero. Nada, Zilch.

In closing, the Steer's first of two scheduled second round selections in the 2023 NFL draft

should really have the feel of the late first round selection and boy could they really use it.
