For all the talk of the Steelers' rookies in their win over the Las Vegas Raiders capped off with Kenny Pickett hitting George Pickens,

there's another rookie who should get some love for Saturday night's win, Connor Hayward.

He's proven to be a Swiss Army knife for this team and he showed it yet again against the Raiders.

He sealed the win with his first NFL carry, good call from Matt Canada surprising Las Vegas's

defense with a jet sweep for 21 yards. Hayward's value is in his versatility and

he's dabbled in a bit of everything this year, receiver, block or special teamer and now runner.

That's how he needs to be used. Hayward will never be great at one thing. You won't be a one-trick pony.

Maximizing how he's used on your roster a bit of everything is the

correct approach and he's improved as a blocker with Pittsburgh even getting

smarter there asking him to cut block more often on split flow runs than trying to stay on his feet and kick out the backside defender.

Connor's the dude who does it all and Saturday was more evidence of that with an explosive run.

Kudos to him for staying in

bounds even if it didn't really matter and a special team's tackle on the
