Welcome to the terrible take, a mini podcast telling Steelers Nation what's on our mind.

It'll be hard to judge the Pittsburgh Steelers season as anything but a failure if they

lose against the Baltimore Ravens and fail to make the playoffs on Sunday.

But a winner go home game against the Ravens in week 18 is undoubtedly thought.

And honestly, if you told me that this team had a chance to win the AFC North

entering the final week of the season before week one, I would take it.

Well, I mean, that's also largely because the division has struggled this year

and hasn't lived up to the usual standard

of play that's expected, but the Steelers can still be division champions, although the other option

is watching the playoffs on their couch. But if they do win, I think they can be a team that, you know,

potentially wins a playoff game. Getting D.K. Metcalf back from suspension heading into the postseason,

having the momentum

after beating a rival to make the playoffs and win your division could spark them into ending

their long playoff wind drought. Really, it's so hard to get a read on this team and what could

happen against the Ravens on Sunday, but Steelers and Ravens in prime time with the division on the line is something

worth getting excited for.

It might be an incredibly long and stressful wait on Sunday, but two rivals going at it

with a chance to end the other season is fun football.

And if things go the Steelers way, I think, you know, pretty much anything is possible
