Aaron Rogers was angry after the week 17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Usually when he speaks

with the media, he's thoughtful, even after losses. But Sunday in Cleveland, the 42-year-old

quarterback was very clearly on edge and let it be known with his short,

curt answers. Some Brown's defenders even said he was irritated on the field throughout the loss, too,

which was captured by CBS Cruz throughout. While Rogers played pretty poorly in the loss,

his fire after the game bodes well for the Steelers in week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night football in a winner take-all game for the AFC North Division Crown.

Rogers expressed his full confidence that the Steelers will bounce back and beat the Ravens, largely because they've handled adversity well before this season.

This one might be different, though,

with no DK Metcalf and no Darnell Washington, who broke his forearm against the Browns.

Without those two key pieces offensively, things look drastically different. The Steelers really

struggled against the Brown's defense, and Rogers made some strange decisions

with the football. But without swirling around him and questions about his performance,

that chip is going to be the size of a boulder on his shoulder this week for Rogers.

That bodes well for the Steelers, who will need the 42-year-old quarterback to be the guy

they thought they were getting in the off-season.

He needs to be that calm, confident leader.

If he can be and can tap into that doubt in the chip on his shoulder,

the Steelers could be just fine on offense, like they have been at times earlier this season.
